Yttrium Oxide (Y2O3)
A material in the industrial application only used recently due to the previously high cost. Especially the high thermal resistivity up to 2200°C and the corrosion resistance against basic melts with high affinity to oxygen will make it to a material for particular case as thermocouple protection tubes and crucibles.
